Recently, I travelled to St. Petersburg, FL and again found a pizza connection, this time a fantastic authentic popular Italian Market called Mazzaro.
My friend Arthur lives in the “St. Pete” area and showed me this cool market on a rainy Thursday afternoon. Mazzaro was packed in the middle of the day. One look at the Yelp reviews and you can see why this place is a big hit.
They make their own pasta, cheeses and import some of the finest quality ingredients from Italy.
You can even grab a bottle of wine and enjoy it on the patio with your food from the deli counter.
Take a number, relax and enjoy walking around Mazzaro and relish in one of the hidden but popular places in St. Pete.
If you are in for some wood-fired pizza, check out Gregario in the sleepy town of Safety Harbor, FL Several people in town suggested this place because of it’s fresh ingredients and it was a great little find.
