This past weekend, my friends and I left San Diego and headed to Wisconsin…..in February! We were out to race in the Birkiebeiner Cross Country Ski Race. As usual, I was scoping out the pizza places and on this trip, I had the opportunity to sample a lot of different kind of cheeses. We visited the Burnett Cheese Co-Op and had fried cheese curds, flavored cheese curds, whips of cheese and some delicious milk shakes.
We had a great time racing but didn’t find any amazing pizza on the trip….the search continues. It’s good to be back in San Diego and enjoying all the delicious pizza we have here.
