Like most people in San Diego, we enjoy the amazing beaches and oceans in San Diego and want them to remain beautiful for a long time to come. We are partnering with the Surfrider Foundation to raise money to keep our oceans clean. On February 28th, we are donating pizza to the Samples For the Sea fundraiser, join us for fun in Mission Beach.
We’ve all seen the guys at the pizza shop toss their dough up in the air with great applause from the people in the restaurant. Did you know that there is an international pizza dough tossing competition?
To get started, check out this video that we made to show the amateur how to toss dough at home. To really get the taste right, you need the wood-fired oven but here’s a start for fun at home.

We made the Pacific Pizza trailer from a 1955 Ford Pickup bed. Could this be the truck where the trailer bed came from???

The largest pizza ever made was in Johannesburg, South Africa. According to the Guinness Book of Records the pizza was 122 feet in diameter and was made using 1200lb of flour, 1700lb of cheese and 1600lb of tomato puree.
